And thus we begin...
Preparation
To start designing our team had to prepare for research interviews. This included conducting secondary research and preparing interview discussion guides to connect with those that we would later meet with.
In home visits
Once the preparation was we conducted in home interviews with our consumers. This allowed us to get information of their daily lives in their spaces including seeing how they worked hair care into that life.
Initial synthesis
Once our first round of interviews were finished we took time to synthesize the various information that we got from them determining exactly where we would want to go for the next step of the process, prototyping.
Prototyping
Consumer Site Visits
From our initial synthesis our team formed questions that remained unanswered and new ways to test them. This was executed through a stage involving prototyping with both experiences and physical objects to understand further peoples opinions in the realm of hair care.
Experiential prototyping
Once the preparation was we conducted in home interviews with our consumers. This allowed us to get information of their daily lives in their spaces including seeing how they worked hair care into that life.
Physical prototyping
Once our first round of interviews were finished we took time to synthesize the various information that we got from them determining exactly where we would want to go for the next step of the process, prototyping.
Moving Forward
A final design proposal was created and presented to our corporate sponsors at the end of the quarter. This design as the culmination of our research and findings about the segment of the hair care market we were assigned has thus been passed on to our corporate sponsors for continued development and assessment for future work.
